Our Staff - Loving & Experiences Were not kidding...our teachers are wonderful and they LOVE children. You wont find a more nurturing group of providers around. We are proud to say that all of our full time teachers have been with us a year or more.
Family Owned & Operated The Lantz family have been in the day care business for over 18 years. Jeff and Gwen opened Maybury in 2005 and are completely hands-on in the day to day activities of the center. They are committed to making Maybury the best experience possible for families.
Daily Reports Our teachers send home daily reports to keep parents updated on their childs daily activities. It covers how the child ate, what time the child napped, what fun activities they did, etc.
Developmental Curriculum We place a large focus on education at Maybury. Our classrooms are separated out for optimal learning experiences. We have an infant room, two toddler classes, a transition class (age 3-4) and preschool. This gives our teachers the chance to fully focus on the education needs of their class.
Structured Daily Routine Keeping classes on a consistent daily routine is important. It contributes to good behavior, good sleeping and eating habits, and potty training. Indoor Physical Activity Building (Gym) Physical activity is critical to child development. Maybury has a separate indoor building that we call the Gym. This is a great space to allow for physical activity and exercise year round!
Computers in Every Classroom Technology is learned at a young age at Maybury. Computers are one of our many tools that we use to enhance learning.
